Abstraks



Jaminan sosial dan kesehatan bagi karyawan merupakan salah satu cara memberikan perlindungan kepada karyawan dan keluarganya. Saat ini besarnya bantuan tidak sama untuk setiap anggota keluarga karyawan. Penelitian ini akan memberikan pertimbangan jika ada skenario untuk meningkatkan besarnya bantuan untuk anggota keluarga karyawan.Sistem Bantuan sosial dan kesehatan merupakan sistem yang probabilistik, dimana terdapat ketidakpastian didalam sistemnya, diantaranya ketidakpastian tentang jenis bantuan apa yang akan terjadi, berapa biaya setiap bantuan yang diajukan dan berapa kali klaim bantuan tersebut terjadi setiap bulannya. Dalam penelitian ini akan menganalisis berapa jumlah biaya yang dibutuhkan berdasarkan data historis menggunakan simulasi Monte Carlo. Dalam sistem bantuan sosial dan kesehatan ini simulasi Monte Carlo digunakan untuk menentukan variabel yang tidak pasti seperti jumlah klaim, besar biaya klaim dan pengguna klaim. Berdasarkan hasil model simulasi tersebut akan dilakukan pengembangan-pengembangan untuk menentukan kebijakan yang akan diambil. Dari hasil simulasi yang dilakukan dan model penembangan yang dikenakan pada model simulasi, berupa peningkatan prosentase bantuan anak, perluasan sasaran untuk pensiunan dan peningkatan batasan bantuan diperoleh besar pengeluaran adalah antara Rp. Rp. 888,622,681.03 sampai Rp. 981,043,628.33.

ABSTRACK


Global economic crisis is affecting steel industry. Savings in the production line is one way for reducing the impact. This paper is discussing how to examine the balance of the production line that consists of 3 different types of machines in a Billet Steel Plant, Krakatau Steel Indonesia using Promodel. Simulation is very helpful in determining alternative solutions because of the uncertain processing time in the third machine. Results of the simulation model will be processed and optimized using SimRunner. The result of this research indicates that the balance of the production line in Billet Steel Plant depends on the downtime machine in Electric Arc Furnace (EAF). After experimenting some alternatives, the recommended delay-time for each EAF Machine as follow:  51 minutes for EAF-1; 56 minutes for EAF-2; and 87 minutes for EAF 3. The saving of this recommendation as the result of simulation process is about Rp. 14.104.531/hour.

Abstract


The aims of this research is to develop a decisions support systems (DSS)  for evaluating the nominees of scholarship applications. In this case, scholarship applicants came from different background  of economic, education, and level of study. They also want to apply to different field of study and different level of semester. The problem is how to determine the grantees which are appropriate to the standards determined by donors.

Literature study indicated that Fuzzy MCDM can be applied to sole this problem. Accordingly it was considered that the donors’ standards were the main criterias and applicants were considerd as the alternatives. FMCDM would find the appropriate candidates  based on the total integral value. Each candidate wouldl have total integral value as result of FMCDM.  Candidate with the highes total integral value  means  that the candidate is the most appropriate to the  criterias.

The result of the developed DSS software demonstrated the value of the total integral can be analogically as the rank of the applicants. After which, the decision maker can decide the grantee based on this rank.

Abstrak


Tree Diagram has been familiarly known as one of the tools used to solve or to make decision for problems that have some alternatives of solutions. But usually the outcome of the diagram are deterministicly approached. This paper suggested Monte Carlo Simulation to approach the deterministic aspect of outcome to become  probabilistic. But there are some asumtions of the diagram  must be change to adjust the Monte Carlo Approach.
